City Gate Delays

City Gate Delays

Need something more interesting than “the guards inspect your papers” when the party reaches town?

These quick gate complications turn arrival into a playable moment without derailing the session. Roll when the party reaches a guarded settlement and use the result to introduce pressure, information, suspicion, or an unexpected opportunity.
